How it works

What to check before dispatch
The calculation converts floor area into LDM; it does not optimize a physical pallet arrangement. Gaps, mixed orientations, trailer geometry and non-stackable cargo can make actual loading different.
Worked example
18 × (1.20 × 0.80) ÷ 2.4 → 7.20 LDM.
Common mistake
Do not enter pallet dimensions in metres: this calculator expects centimetres. Also do not confuse calculated LDM with a guaranteed pallet layout.
