How it works
The calculator applies the displayed formula directly to the values you enter. It does not invent missing route, cost or packing data. m = Q × (Lcm ÷ 100) × (Wcm ÷ 100) ÷ Wm.
When to use it
Useful for pricing and planning palletised freight when transport is charged or constrained by loading metres.
What to check before dispatch
Real loading length can differ because pallets may not tile the trailer perfectly, mixed orientations can help or hurt, and securing gaps or equipment reduce usable space.
Worked example
18 EUR pallets of 120 × 80 cm with 2.40 m usable width give 17.28 m² ÷ 2.40 m = 7.20 m loading length.
Common mistake
Do not treat loading length as the physical length of one pallet row. It is total floor area divided by usable width.
