What to check before dispatch
The calculator converts entered cargo kilograms to tonnes. It does not evaluate trailer volume, LDM, handling effort, payload legality or axle loads.
Worked example
€1,300 ÷ (12,000 kg ÷ 1000) = €108.33 / t
Common mistake
Do not divide the total cost by kilograms and label the result €/t; the tonne conversion is essential.
